Summer’s end . . . not quite yet

8/31/2015 at 12:48 pm by

Greetings friends.

A quick look at the calendar says it’s the “back to” season . . . school, work, raking leaves. But, before you moth ball the shorts and reach for your woollies remember this—the sun hasn’t set on summer yet. That grill on the deck still burns hot for burgers and brats. The shade tree hammock has a few naps left in it. Haven’t perfected your cannonball? There’s plenty of time to take another plunge or two. And the bleachers are still open, offering the promise of even more magical moments at the ballpark.

Yes, soon enough the thermometer will fall and our attention will turn to frosty pumpkins, turkeys and trees. But until then, may you all enjoy the rest of this most glorious time of year. The memories you create, will keep you warm all winter long.
