Baseball is in full swing . . . and so are your Sage support resources

If you’ve read this blog for any period of time, you know that I follow multiple sports throughout the year. With the middle of summer, we’ve arrived at the midway point of the Major League Baseball season. Or the time of year when I, as a New York Mets fan, say “There’s always next year” since they’re usually hopelessly behind in the standings, though this year it appears they will wait until August or September to break my heart.

While we’re at a critical point for any baseball fan, this is also a great time of year to revisit some important resources that can help Sage customers with any question they may have.

  1. The Sage Customer Portal—This is the best place to start for anyone with questions about a workflow or how to resolve an error message. You can even check out the latest software updates. Information provided in the portal is constantly updated and available 24/7.
  2. Sage City—Want to hear how others are handling things such as progress billing, certified payroll, and Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance? Sage City is a great place to easily join or create discussions with your peers. There’s also a blog with some cool posts. Check out “To reboot or not to reboot” and “Does your estimating database need some TLC?” and you’ll see what I mean.
  3. Live Chat– Why pick up the phone when you can launch a support chat session directly from the most recent versions of Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate? Just click on Help > Live Chat and in a matter of seconds you’ll be able to ask a question and receive answers from someone on our support staff.

These are all great resource to help you get the most from your software this summer. Did I miss anything? Tell me your favorite resources.
