Last weekend I needed to get my bulldog, Gus, some new dog food, so my wife and I loaded him into the car and headed out to a big box pet store. Of course, an added bonus is that the stores are cool with you bringing your pet into the store, which is perfect for Gus, since that means there is an opportunity to run up to literally everyone in the store and sit at their feet waiting to be pet. I realized as I was trying to keep him from flopping on the feet of some poor, unsuspecting shopper that this store has something for everyone. You can buy food, toys (trust me, the last thing Gus needs is another toy!), and cleaning supplies. You can also get your pet groomed or attend a training class to help modify a behavior!
While a pet store like this is useful to a pet owner, wouldn’t it be really cool if there was something like that for your business? Yeah, I thought you might be interested in something like that. Well, wait no more—our once-a-year Sage extravaganza is coming up in a few short weeks. Much like last year’s event that I branded “The Wrestlemania of Sage,” this year’s Sage Summit comes to you live and direct from one of my favorite cities in the world . . . The Big Easy . . . NOLA . . . New Orleans! Think about it—you can learn about things that are important to your business and industry, AND the fabulous Bourbon Street is just a few steps away. That sounds like a guaranteed winner to me!
If you haven’t already been over to check out the Sage Summit website, do it! You can register for information sessions, check out the agenda, even book travel. Check in regularly to see announcements on featured speakers, or peruse the bios of the thought leaders. I really enjoyed watching Jessica Alba talk about how to retain talent last year, and who could forget the cage match between Robert Gibbs and Karl Rove? I can’t wait to see this year’s lineup!
While you’re at it, don’t forget to swing over to Sage City and have a virtual conversation with others about the upcoming festivities; there’s a ton of good folks and information there.
What are you looking forward to most from Sage Summit 2015?
